Taylor Swift is turning 35 on December 13 and it appears boyfriend Travis Kelce is ready to pull out all the stops for his partner.
With her Eras Tour set to wrap up on Sunday night in Vancouver, Canada, Swift will be able to celebrate her birthday in style given she’ll have a lot of free time.
The same can’t be said for Kelce however, as although the Kansas City Chiefs have already clinched a playoff spot, they have a busy December ahead of them with games against the Los Angeles Chargers, Cleveland Browns, Houston Texans and Pittsburgh Steelers.
Nevertheless, reports suggest Kelce is doing all that he can to keep his focus on football while also spoiling Swift on her special day.
“Although he’ll be playing on Christmas and has an away game the weekend of Taylor’s birthday, Travis is going to make sure to take time out to celebrate both occasions with her,” a source told Page Six.
As per the source, Kelce has been “shopping for Christmas and birthday gifts for Taylor for quite a while now”, while adding that he is “not the type to leave these things to the last minute” and has been “picking up items here and there for the past several months whenever he has a chance.”
Kelce trying to fulfill Swift’s wishlist
With Kelce keen to impress Swift on her birthday and for Christmas, he’s reportedly been keeping a close eye on her wishlist and things she’s mentioned in passing.
“Some of the gifts are things Taylor has casually mentioned she would like,’ the source continued. “Travis makes sure to always listen even when Taylor doesn’t realize he is.”
Kelce has given Swift expensive gifts in the past, reportedly spending around $22,000 on Valentine’s Day gifts for her alone.
This included a $3,050 24-karat gold rose sculpture from Pergola, and two boxes of 250 ‘eternity’ roses which are said to last up to a year and cost $2,199. He also gifted her a $1,050 black lambskin Dior beret, a $1,100 Celine hat, a $5,100 Bottega Veneta purse, and a $1,300 Herms Chevaux Dechaines shawl.
Kelce also got himself and Taylor custom matching bracelets with the letters TNT – standing for Taylor ‘n’ Travis – written in diamond-encrusted gold beads.
