The opening match of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup between Inter Miami and Al Ahly, which will be played at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium, has had slow ticket sales in the 24 hours since they went on sale to the public, ESPN reported.

There are 31 sections that still show more than 100 tickets available on the online portal, after FIFA opened ticket sales at 10:00 a.m. ET on Thursday, December 19.
The opening match on July 14 between the MLS team featuring Lionel Messi and the Egyptian side, currently has the most expensive tickets for the tournament.
The official prices for the match range from $349 to $557 dollars, while resale tickets are already up to $1,221 dollars.
For the rest of the group stage matches, ticket prices range from $44 to $89.
Bayern Munich sells out tickets
The match to be played on July 15 at TQL Stadium in Cincinnati, between Bayern Munich and Auckland City, from New Zealand, is the only match with sold-out tickets, while the rest of the 47 group stage matches still have a good number and variety of tickets available.
It should be remembered that the 2025 Club World Cup will feature 32 teams from all confederations around the world for the first time, after expanding the number of teams that until the previous edition had a seven-team format.
The organization awarded 12 places to Europe (UEFA), 6 to South America (Conmebol), 4 to North America and the Caribbean (Concacaf), 4 to Asia (AFC), 4 to Africa (CAF) and 1 to Oceania (OFC).
Despite the fact that the tournament has generated controversy over an already packed schedule of matches throughout the year, FIFA and its president Gianni Infantino went ahead with this competition project, which will run for a whole month in the summer of the following year.
