LeBron James, an NFL whisperer? Lakers’ star shows off slam dunk NFL parlay

LeBron James may dominate the NBA, but his passion for football is no secret.

A self-proclaimed NFL super fan, the 39-year-old Los Angeles Lakers star recently celebrated a significant win-off the court-thanks to a well-placed bet on NFL stars Justin Jefferson, James Cook, and Chuba Hubbard.

LeBron James hits NFL jackpot

Using DraftKings, a $19.68 billion sports betting platform, James crafted a touchdown parlay that proved flawless during Week 16 of the NFL season.

Banking on Jefferson’s electrifying performance for the Minnesota Vikings, Cook’s steady contributions for the Buffalo Bills, and Hubbard’s breakout game for the Carolina Panthers, LeBron secured a perfect sweep and a lucrative payout.

James couldn’t contain his excitement, sharing his triumph with his 159 million Instagram followers.

Posting DraftKings’ celebratory message, “LEBRON CASHED HIS WEEK 16 TOUCHDOWN PARLAY,” he added a simple but telling caption: “.”

This isn’t LeBron’s first success with NFL bets.

Earlier this season, he struck gold with similar predictions, with Jefferson once again proving to be his lucky charm.

It’s clear the four-time NBA champion brings the same meticulous preparation to his NFL picks as he does to the court.

But LeBron’s football fandom doesn’t end with betting.

He closely followed the Philadelphia Eagles’ star running back Saquon Barkley during Sunday Night Football, where Barkley’s explosive performance helped secure a thrilling 36-33 victory over the Washington Commanders.

James was so impressed he took to Twitter to exclaim, “SAQUON!!!! .”

LeBron’s connection to football runs deep, dating back to his high school days as a standout wide receiver.

Widely regarded as Ohio’s top football prospect at the time, his on-field prowess was nearly as legendary as his basketball dominance.

Whether it’s nailing touchdown parlays or hyping NFL stars, LeBron James continues to prove he’s as much a force off the court as he is on it.

And with the Lakers set to face the Detroit Pistons on Monday, fans will see if the King can carry his winning momentum back to the hardwood.
