Despite the interest of the former Green Bay Packers quarterback to stay with the Jets, Rodgers acknowledged that his future remains uncertain and that he has not yet spoken with team owners Woody Johnson and Christopher Johnson to decide whether to stay with the Jets or contemplate professional retirement.
“I haven’t decided whether I want to play in the future or not and I haven’t been told what their plans are… If the new staff came in and wanted me to be there and also made a selection for the future, then of course“
