“This is a tough game, the emotional part is a challenge, it was a kick in the stomach for everyone. It wasn’t the ideal time for us, but I think it just shows the resilience and determination of the team,” Jerry Jones told the media

“Those guys went out and played like they were fighting in the championship game to go to the Super Bowl. I can’t express how proud I am of them and the staff. It really shows me something,” expressed the head of the Dallas Cowboys.

In a more direct question about McCarthy’s continuity, Jerry Jones decided not to give much detail:

“To be clear, the only thing I can say is that he’s doing a great job. I have no ideas to share about what we do with our days after we finish playing this year. I have nothing to share about that,” he concluded.

They want to ruin the playoffs for their eternal rivals

The year is not over yet for the Cowboys, who have a couple of commitments to fulfill to finish the season, Eagles and Commanders. Many would think that they are games that will not be useful at all, but Micah Parsons thinks very differently, because he wants to crush them and leave them out as well

“I think that’s the best part, we have nothing to lose. They have everything to lose. Classification, positioning, elimination, so it’s good to be in this position. Well, it’s not good, but it’s nice,” said the Cowboys linebacker.

They will have to wait and see if they can spoil their division rivals’ Christmas celebrations. After a forgettable campaign, they find themselves in a scenario where they can bow out of the competition with their heads held high.
