The Super Bowl LIX is getting closer and closer, and with four weeks to go before the end of the NFL regular season, several teams are beginning to define the favorites to lift the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
The Kansas City Chiefs are strong contenders to achieve something that has never happened before, which is to win the league title game three years in a row.
If the Chiefs were to appear once more on Super Sunday, they would be the fourth franchise to appear in three consecutive years, along with the Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots.

Alongside Pat Mahomes’ Chiefs, the fight in the AFC is very close, with the Buffalo Bills, Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens among the strongest candidates.
In the NFC, the Detroit Lions are looking to appear in a Super Bowl for the first time and are, for now, the strongest candidates, but the Philadelphia Eagles are hot on their heels, while the Los Angeles Rams have been slowly raising their level of play, not forgetting the Minnesota Vikings.
How much money will the next Super Bowl champion take home?
In addition to the honor of being the champion of one of the most powerful leagues on the planet, the winning team will receive a juicy monetary reward.
The latest collective bargaining agreement between the NFL Players Association (NFLPA) and the NFL dictates that each member of the winning team will receive a $7,000 increase over last year’s total of $164,000.
So the winners of the 2025 Super Bowl will receive $171 as a prize.
Obviously, no one wants to lose, but a good consolation for each player on the losing team is that they will add $96,000 to their bank account, which makes it a little easier to bear the weight of defeat.
In addition, there are some bonuses depending on each player’s participation in the Super Bowl, which also depend on the type of contract established with their team.
The latest collective bargaining agreement signed by the NFLPA and the NFL states that each member of the winning team will receive $171,000, an increase of $7,000 from last year’s total of $164,000
While the players of the losing team will have to ‘settle’ for a $96,000 bonus, they will also have an increase compared to the $89,000 they were given last year.
