Brittany Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs‘ Patrick Mahomes surprised the world when they announced they are expecting their third child together and now the time is finally here as the 29-year-old will be induced on Monday, January 13, if she doesn’t give birth on Sunday.
The timing is perfect for the quarterback, who enjoys a bye week in the first round of the playoffs. It means that from when his latest child is born through until January 18/19 he will be able to help Brittany recover from the labor before he has to play again.
Mahomes admitted the plan is to get their third child here before he continues on in the NFL, thus allowing him to focus on his family in the short term before he can turn his attention 100% to the divisional game against the Houston Texans.
“No one happier to get back to KC than Patrick Mahomes,” Tracy Wolfson posted to X.com, formerly Twitter, on January 5. “He told me his wife Brittany is due to give birth to their 3rd child on Sunday.
“If she doesn’t give birth by then she will be induced Monday. There was def extra motivation for Patrick to get that bye week!”
The couple are expecting a second daughter alongside Sterling Skye (3) and they also have a son named Bronze Lavon (2). Brittany seems excited for the moment after publishing her final photos carrying her child to Instagram, with the caption, “Hello 2025. We’re ready for you little one.”
