Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce is making it known where he stands among Taylor Swift‘s most dedicated fans. In a recent interview, Kelce playfully claimed the title of her “No. 1 Swiftie,” but he also acknowledged some fierce competition from an important figure in Taylor’s life-her mother, Andrea Swift.
During an appearance on ESPN, Stephen A. Smith directly asked Kelce, “Is it alright for us to call you a Swiftie?” The NFL tight end didn’t hesitate to respond.?”Yeah, I’m the No. 1 Swiftie,” Kelce declared with confidence.
Smith, however, was quick to test Kelce’s claim. “No. 1, right? Even more than Mama?” he asked.

Kelce replied with a laugh, “I’m right there. We’re neck and neck. We’re right there. We’re tied at the top.”
It’s not an easy competition to win, considering Andrea Swift has been Taylor‘s most loyal supporter since day one.
However, Andrea has also warmly embraced Kelce, attending several Chiefs games alongside his own mother, Donna Kelce. Together, the two moms have been spotted in the stands, enthusiastically cheering on Travis.
Kelce Finds Motivation in Swift’s Music
As the Chiefs prepare for their playoff run, Kelce has drawn some lighthearted inspiration from one of Swift’s most popular songs.
Speaking on “The Pat McAfee Show,” Kelce referenced Taylor‘s track “22” from her Red album, saying, “I’m fired up, and I’m feeling 22 all over again, baby. Let’s go!”
The playful comment highlights Kelce‘s upbeat mindset as he readies himself for the team’s pursuit of a third consecutive Super Bowl championship.
With the Chiefs earning a bye week to rest and regroup, Kelce appears energized and ready to deliver on the field.
Kelce and Swift’s relationship has brought together two powerhouse families, with their mutual support evident at every turn.
Whether Kelce can officially claim the title of Taylor‘s biggest fan may remain a playful debate, but one thing is clear-his dedication, both as a partner and an athlete, is undeniable.
As the postseason begins, Kelce‘s infectious energy and lighthearted spirit offer plenty of reasons for Chiefs fans to believe in another successful playoff run.
