Philadelphia Eagles fans have been left furious their offensive coordinator’s decision to interview for the Dallas Cowboys‘ head coach role ahead of their NFC Divisional Game clash with the Los Angeles Rams.
Kellen Moore has three slots booked in to explore his options away from the Lincoln Financial Field, including with Jerry Jones‘ Cowboys, despite the Eagles hunting down a first Super Bowl since 2017.
Whilst Moore will no doubt be working hard on how to get the most out of Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley and DeVonta Smith when they take to their latest NFL Playoffs game on Sunday, January 19, fans arent’ too happy.
“I will be furious if Kellen Moore being distracted by the Cowboys job costs the Eagles,” Emmanuel Acho, who works for FOX Sports and previously spent three years in Philadelphia, said. “This same situation literally already cost the Eagles a Super Bowl. Eagles fans know.”

And Eagles fans quickly took to X.com, formerly Twitter, to agree with the ex-linebacker, who also played for the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants before retiring from the sport at the end of 2025.
One user wrote, “Loooovvvee Kellen Moore interviewing for multiple head coaching jobs the week after he put together one of the most vanilla play-calling jobs in the passing game I’ve seen.”
A second added, “this hurt the Eagles when the Cardinals spoke to Jonathan Gannon when Eagles lost the Super Bowl to Chiefs.”
And a third commented, “Agreed! I don’t want him distracted. I need him locked in, especially because he wasn’t great last wk.”
What time is the Rams vs Eagles?
The Eagles are looking for their first Super Bowl game since 2022, when they were defeated 38-35 by the Kansas City Chiefs following a late fourth quarter rally by Patrick Mahomes.
They will take on the Los Angeles Rams for a spot in the NFC Conference Championship. The game will take place in Philadelphia on January 19.
Kick-off is from 15:00 ET/12:00 PT and will be live on NBC Sports with Mike Tirico on the play-by-play.
