The ex-Dallas Cowboys’ Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones believes Deion Sanders will not be linking up with America’s Team at the AT&T Stadium, believing Coach Prime will remain with the Colorado Buffaloes instead.
For months the 57-year-old has been rumored to be interested in making the switch from the NCAA to the NFL; and whilst Jerry Jones has reportedly been open to the idea too, nothing has yet materialized.
So as the 82-year-old owner now hunts his next head coach after axing Mike McCarthy by failing to negotiate a new deal; despite holding exclusive rights, this could be Sanders’ moment. Yet Jones doesn’t think so.
“Deion is not leaving Colorado,” Jones said to The Pac McAfee Show. “By no means necessary.

“Unless he was able to coach both his sons, which I don’t think that’s possible. I don’t think Deion‘s going nowhere. I don’t think Deion is going to Jerry World.”
Sanders, additionally, made it clear that he actually enjoys being at Folsom Field and insisted he will be remaining in his post with the team, with three years left on a $29.5 million deal. The cost of buying him out is set at eight million dollars.
Who could the Cowboys hire?
McCarthy was let go after the Cowboys slumped to a 7-10 finish and third in the NFC East behind the Washington Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles. Dallas never made the Super Bowl in his tenure.
So now Jones looks for his next target and a plethora of names have been linked alongside Sanders. They include Robert Saleh (ex-New York Jets), Kellen Moore (Eagles’ offensive coordinator) and Bill Belichick (North Carolina Tar Heels).
However, it’s a competitive field in the head coach market with the Las Vegas Raiders, New England Patriots, New Orleans Saints, Chicago Bears, Jacksonville Jaguars and Jets looking for a new brain to lead them forwards.
