Los Angeles Rams rookie Jared Verse was not concerned about the booing he received from Eagles fans.
Just days after admitting he hates Eagles fans, the 24-year-old Florida State product took a walk around Lincoln Financial Field, where Philadelphia fans were already waiting for him, and not with open arms, to be honest.
Jared and teammate Byron Young were booed as they walked through the end zone before kickoff. They were seen gesturing with their hands behind their ears in a clear “you didn’t hear them” message to amplify the insults, and Young even said “thank you” to warm up the atmosphere. The pregame was starting to heat up in a game that would steal the day in the NFL.

Until this week, Verse was virtually unknown to Eagles fans, but he was thrust into the spotlight when asked about a video that exploded on the Internet showing a local man insulting a Packers fan at Lincoln Financial Field during the playoff game.
Jared Verse makes headlines in Philadelphia
In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, the Rams rookie was very honest and held nothing back against Philadelphia: “I hate Eagles fans. They’re so annoying. I hate Eagles fans,” he said.
Verse’s confession came after Ryan Caldwell, a 45-year-old Eagles fan, lost his job as a business analyst at a consulting firm that deals with DEI, all because a video of him confronting an opposing fan went viral.
“She’s stupid and ugly,” Ryan told the woman.
“I want to sincerely apologize to Ms. Keller for those words and to my wife, family and friends, my former employer and colleagues, Packer fans, Eagle fans, the Philadelphia Eagles, the city of Philadelphia, and anyone who was offended”, Ryan Caldwell told the New York Post.
Verse made statements that were plastered on a billboard near the Eagles‘ stadium. Caldwell lost his job at a DEI consulting firm and was banned from Lincoln Financial Field for all future events.
