The Buffalo Bills beat the Baltimore Ravens in a thrilling 27-25 win and advanced to the AFC Championship game for the first time since 2020 thanks in part to a good game by quarterback Josh Allen.
Buffalo will travel to face Kansas City Chiefs on Jan. 26 at 6:30 p.m. with a trip to Super Bowl LIX on the line. This marks the 4th time in the last 5th seasons that the Bills and Chiefs will meet in the playoffs.
The Bills defense forced three turnovers in their victory over the Ravens. Buffalo intercepted Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson once, forced a fumble on Jackson and forced a fumble on tight end Mark Andrews. Meanwhile, quarterback Josh Allen ran for two touchdowns and running back Ray Davis ran for his first career postseason touchdown.

Josh Allen’s unforgettable gift to a kid
After the game, an euphoric Josh Allen screamed “Let’s go!” to the crowd as he embraced the victory and everything that it represents. He hasn’t been able to beat Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in th playoffs, though he has had success during the regular season. The latest example of that is the Bills 30-21 Week 11 win over the Chiefs.
As hewas heading to the tunnel, Allen stopped and took the white glove he was wearin on his left hand and gave it to a little kid that was on the stands cheering for him and the Buffalo Bills. The MVP candidate also took one of the hand towels he used during the game and gave it to another fan.
“It’s what we worked for.” Allen told the media after the s victory, as he adressed topics such as ignoring the outside noise, motivating his teammates, advancing to the AFC Championship, playing in snowy conditions and focusing on the Kansas City Chiefs.
An epic game with a Super Bowl ticket on the line
The Buffalo Bills will have little time to celebrate their win over the Baltimore Ravens as they begin to get ready for the AFC Championship game scheduled for Sunday January 26th at Arrowhead Stadium, home of the defending Super Bowl champions Kansas City Chiefs.
Josh Allen and the Bills have never been able to defeat Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs in the postseason. Will the fourth time be the charm? Allen has a big chip on his shoulder while Mahomes has the edge with a 3-0 record including two wins in the Divisional Round and once in the AFC Championship game.
During the regular season, Allen has beaten Mahomes four times, more than any other NFL quarterback. If Buffalo manages to defeat Kansas City they will be heading to the Super Bowl for the first time since the 1990’s, when they made four straight trips from 1990 to 1993. Allen’s legacy is also on the line, as he’s regarded as a great quarterback during the regular season but not quite good enough to take his team to the promised land.
