“Now that you’re unemployed, let us know if you need a free DashPass subscription. The extra savings will come in handy,” the company’s official X account humorously tweeted.
Tagging Butler directly, DoorDash’s tweet quickly went viral. But DoorDash didn’t stop there-they also tagged Butler’s Heat teammate Kevin Love, escalating the social media chaos even further.
While DoorDash’s trolling was all in good fun, Butler had already endured another public roasting just days earlier.
In a now viral video, the six-time All-Star was seen attempting to make a purchase at his BigFace coffee shop when his credit card declined. The moment, caught on camera, added fuel to the “unemployed” joke surrounding him.
