It is not the first time that Marcus, the son of legend Michael Jordan, has been in trouble for his proclivity to drive under the influence of substances and for his relationship with drugs, so his recent arrest in the early hours of Tuesday morning is no longer a surprise to anyone.
Marcus was arrested after he left his luxury Lamborghini on the train tracks in Maitland, Florida, following a traffic stop by Seminole County sheriff’s deputies. Jordan now faces charges of driving under the influence (DUI), possession of cocaine and resisting arrest.

“That wasn’t me,” said Nora Ford
In the car, Jordan was traveling with a white woman, according to images released by TMZ, and it was immediately speculated that it was model Nora Ford, who in recent occasions has been seen with the former basketball player. However, Ford has already come out to say that she is not the one who appears in those photos: “That wasn’t me. I’ve been in Las Vegas for a week. Please stop“, Nora posted on her Instagram Stories.
Either way, Marcus was set bail at $4,000 when he was booked into the Orange DUI Center, where he was held for a few hours, and where he inevitably ended up after being ‘caught’ in flagrante delicto.

“I’m Michael Jordan’s son”
Marcus Jordan tried to invoke his famous father’s name in order to gain some sort of leniency from law enforcement: “I’m Marcus Jordan. I’m Michael Jordan’s son. I’m not doing anything wrong. I’m just trying to get home and I took a wrong turn. Clearly, we’d like to get our car off the damn train tracks, which we weren’t trying to be on,” Marcus shouted before being arrested, and it was all caught on video.
