George Kittle dishes out bold Super Bowl advice to Travis Kelce: “Do it again”

San Francisco 49ers star George Kittle didn’t hold back when asked to share some pre-Super Bowl wisdom for Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Speaking at Media Row in New Orleans on February 6, Kittle had a playful suggestion for Kelce and Chiefs coach Andy Reid-one that ties back to an infamous moment from last year’s Super Bowl.

“Remember that photo of him yelling at Andy Reid during the game? I’d just say, ‘Do that again,'” Kittle quipped, referencing the viral incident when Kelce, fired up after a missed scoring opportunity, shoved Reid during a heated exchange.

Despite the moment earning Kelce some backlash-his brother Jason Kelce even called him out for “crossing the line” on their New Heights podcast-it clearly didn’t disrupt the Chiefs’ winning formula.

Kittle, known for his sense of humor and sharp football IQ, joked about whether he should hype Kelce up or “piss him off” before the big game. Ultimately, he praised Kelce’s natural ability to flip the competitive switch when it matters most. “He doesn’t need much to get inspired-he’s got that switch,” the 49ers tight end explained.

Mahomes and Brady have a unique chemistry

Kittle didn’t stop at the advice, though. He took a moment to applaud the electric connection between Kelce and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, calling their chemistry “unique.”

Comparing it to the legendary duo of Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski, Kittle marveled at the way Kelce and Mahomes adapt to any defense thrown their way. “There’s not really anyone else that does it like them,” he said. “It’s a pretty cool relationship they have.”

With the Chiefs’ dynamic duo gearing up to meet the Philadelphia Eagles at https://www.marca.com/en/nfl/super-bowl.html, Kittle’s words serve as both a nod to their dominance and a reminder of how their fiery passion-bumping coaches aside-has led to championship glory. All eyes are now on Kelce and Reid to see if lightning (or a little sideline chaos) will strike twice.
