Marcus Jordan’s DUI case takes another turn as NBA legend’s son continues to taint Michael’s legacy

Marcus Jordan has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons recently and his recent driving under the influence (DUI) case has taken a fresh turn.

On Friday, TMZ Sports reported that Jordan has entered a not guilty plea for his DUI charge.

Jordan is facing three charges that came from his run-in with the police last week. The charges are DUI with property damage, possession of cocaine and resisting an officer without violence.

Marcus is the son of NBA legend Michael Jordan, meaning the case takes on more importance for many watching fans.

Allegedly, Jordan got out of his Lamborghini Urus on some train tracks early on Tuesday morning, having been on a night out in Florida. Cops arrived on the scene and he was clearly intoxicated.

The famous dad trick

After refusing to cooperate with the officers, he tried to use his father’s name and status to get out of the situation. That didn’t work at all, as he was arrested and taken to a DUI testing facility.

Police reported that his behavior was very obnoxious when at the facility, and he even asked them to start playing some Mariah Carey music.

He has not made a public comment about the proceedings, but he has thanked his supporters for backing him following the arrest.

“My priority is my store, The Trophy Room, and I won’t be making any comments on recent media stories and my personal life,” Jordan wrote on Instagram. “I sincerely appreciate your concerns & thank you for your kind understanding.”

He is expected to be back in court in March where he will defend his not guilty plea.
