As the NBA emerges from the All-Star break, Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is taking the opportunity to recharge and focus on the second half of the season.
After sitting out the All-Star Game due to a foot issue, James has returned to the weight room, but this time, he’s got a special training partner-his daughter, Zhuri.

LeBron teams up with daughter Zhuri
The 38-year-old NBA legend shared glimpses of his workout session on social media, showing himself getting in some sweat while blasting tracks from Kendrick Lamar’s good kid, m.A.A.d city.
Despite the drama surrounding his public support for Lamar amid ongoing beef with rapper Drake, James seemed to focus on bonding with his youngest child, Zhuri, during their at-home training session.
Zhuri, who is only 10 years old, joined her father in exercises and even had some fun with him, playfully tossing around baseball equipment.
It’s clear that LeBron is not only a committed athlete but a proud father, cherishing these moments with his daughter.
This isn’t the first time LeBron has shared his pride for Zhuri.
In late 2024 he posted pictures of her in a volleyball uniform, sporting the same number 6 jersey that her father wore during his Miami Heat and USA Basketball days.
As the youngest James child to show an interest in sports, Zhuri is carving out her own path, following in the footsteps of her older brothers, Bryce and Bronny.
LeBron has always spoken highly of his daughter.
In a 2021 interview, he shared, “My daughter is the greatest thing in my life, along with my boys. So, whenever she smiles, it don’t matter what I’m doing, it makes me happy.”
It’s clear that family is a key priority for the superstar, even amid the pressures of the NBA season.
While some NBA fans might be disappointed that LeBron skipped out on the All-Star festivities, his focus on getting ready for the playoffs with the Lakers is what matters most.
The team is set to resume their season on February 19 against the Charlotte Hornets.
