It’s been a tough last couple of days for the Ball family. News broke on Wednesday that LaVar Ball had his right foot amputated due to a “serious medical issue”. LaVar hadn’t been heard from recently as frequently as he was in the past. He became a prominent figurehead in basketball media while trying to gain notoriety for all three of his sons: Lonzo, LiAngelo and LaMelo.
While LaVar rubbed some people the wrong way with his words and actions, his goal ultimately paid off. Lonzo and LaMelo made it to the NBA, while LiAngelo has made it big as a rap artist due to his “Tweaker” song. LaVar’s foot amputation had the ability to destabilize the family, but instead, the father of three is taking it in stride. In fact, he recently made light of the situation.

Ball made a custom cameo video for an account on TikTok. At the end of the video, LaVar began singing his son LiAngelo’s hit single, “Tweaker”. LaVar has done several cameos for “Primby” in the past, as have other celebrities. Primby’s account has over a million followers on TikTok.
Everyone heard what happened. And y’all can take my foot. But you know what you can’t take? That Primby account! I might swerve in that corner, whoa, oh!
It’s impressive that Ball can have such a great attitude after such a traumatic experience, but what makes it even more impressive is that it comes just a couple of days after.
Ball has always been confident, unabashedly so. Not even losing a foot can change that.
