Having up-close encounters with wildlife is something many have on their bucket list, from whale watching or swimming with dolphins to trekking through the jungle, the natural world holds a wealth of experiences ready to delight an animal enthusiast. However, sometimes animals have their own ideas and get a little too close for comfort.
On February 9, in Freeport, Bahamas, a video was recorded of a shark swallowing a camera that was attached to a shark feeding box. Still recording, the video captures footage from inside the shark’s mouth as well as the view from between its teeth, looking down at the members of the dive group.
Eventually, the shark spits out the camera, after being followed by a guide from the diving group who retrieved it.
In November, a tiger shark was given a diver’s phone to explore before spitting it out!
