Shilo Sanders is doing all that he can to prove the haters wrong before his NFL career gets underway.
He was left off of the NFL Scouting Combine invite list, but now a video has emerged showing just how much he has been working on his speed whilst still with the Colorado Buffaloes.
Sanders managed to run his fastest-ever 40-yard dash whilst training for Colorado’s Pro Day, but an exact timing was not provided by the club.
Sanders actually hired official Combine timers to come to Boulder, and he was quoted as saying afterwards: “I didn’t get invited to the combine, but I brought the combine to me.”
The son of Deion Sanders was one of the most notable omissions from the official list of 329 Scouting Combine participants in 2025, but he is still pushing to make sure he impresses at least one of the 32 NFL teams before the draft in April.
Shedeur Sanders to join Tom Brady?
Shedeur Sanders, brother of Shilo, has been vocal about his interest in joining the Las Vegas Raiders, and he took the opportunity to reinforce that this time with a direct message to team co-owner Tom Brady.
The Raiders, who currently hold the No. 6 pick, recently met with Sanders in Indianapolis, where he also made sure to highlight his connection with Brady, the seven-time Super Bowl champion and one of the most respected figures in football history.
“Tom Brady, he’s an all-time great,” Sanders said. “Being able to have that resource, being able to have that person I’m able to talk to and call whenever I’m having questions about the game, he’s able to relate to it, because he did it at the highest level. It’s truly amazing. I’m thankful for that.”
Sanders’ relationship with Brady extends beyond a casual connection. In 2022, Brady signed Sanders to an NIL deal, establishing a bond between the two that could make Las Vegas an appealing destination for the quarterback.
