After an exhausting yet triumphant run of 149 “Eras Tour” shows across multiple continents, Taylor Swift is taking a well-earned break.
Following the release of her highly anticipated double-album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” the pop icon has opted for some much-needed downtime-and she’s making the most of it with her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
Despite both being in the global spotlight, Swift and Kelce managed to stay off the radar for nearly a month following Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans. Their first public sighting came when they were seen enjoying a quiet getaway in Park City, Utah.
Swift skips iHeartRadio Music Awards but delivers heartfelt speech
While Swifties had hoped that the 10-time Grammy winner and Kelce would attend the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards on March 17, the couple chose to sit this one out. However, Swift didn’t leave her fans empty-handed.
In a pre-recorded video, she graciously accepted the “Tour of the Century” honor, an award that happened to be presented on the two-year anniversary of the very first “Eras Tour” show.
“People often say sometimes that the greatest challenges in life end up being something you’re so proud of, or end up being the most gratifying feeling in the end if you can rise to the occasion,” Swift shared in her acceptance speech.
“And this tour was absolutely the most challenging thing I’ve ever done in my life… and it really was the most gratifying thing I’ve ever done.”
Spotted with Kelce
On Friday, March 14, Swift and Kelce were spotted enjoying a date night at Del Frisco’s Grille in New York City’s Brookfield Place.
This public appearance is notable, as the couple has maintained a low profile since the Kansas City Chiefs‘ Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in February.
This sighting follows a recent low-key outing where Swift and Kelce were seen at the Crane Club, a members-only speakeasy in New York City, earlier in the week.
They have also reportedly spent time together in Park City, Utah, enjoying skiing and each other’s company away from the public eye.
