However, the quarterback also shared his experience of dealing with a delayed package for his girlfriend’s gift, noting the stress it caused him.
“I was a little bit worried because there was one package left for my girlfriend Brittani that hadn’t showed up yet, so I’d been waiting on this to show up,”Rodgers said.
“It showed up today so everything is great now.”
Rodgers’ revelation seemed to take McAfee and the crew by surprise.
His former teammate, AJ Hawk, jokingly asked, “Spears?” referring to Britney Spears, to which Rodgers laughed off the comment and confirmed his girlfriend’s name is Brittani, spelled with an “i.”
Rodgers: Love is a ‘good feeling’
Despite the public mention of his new relationship, Rodgers was quick to add that his girlfriend is not active on social media, and joked that she probably doesn’t watch McAfee’s show, despite being a fan of the ESPN host.
When McAfee and others teased him about being “in love,”Rodgers responded with a grin, saying, “It’s a good feeling, boys. It is.”
Rodgers, who has historically kept his personal life private, has had several high-profile relationships in the past.
He was most recently linked to Mallory Edens, a model and daughter of Milwaukee Bucks owner Wes Edens, though they were said to be keeping things casual.
Before that, Rodgers had relationships with actress Shailene Woodley, former race car driver Danica Patrick, and actress Olivia Munn.
In his 2024 Netflix docuseries Aaron Rodgers: Enigma, Rodgers opened up about the challenges of dating in the public eye, admitting that he didn’t always handle the attention well.
“I definitely hated it at first – like, really despised it,” he said.
“I enjoyed my private life. I enjoyed being able to go places. But from Super Bowl MVP, MVP, State Farm commercials, that got a little bit more difficult.”
For now, Rodgers appears to be enjoying his newfound love while continuing to focus on the two remaining regular season games with the Jets.
