Amuse 2.1 Beta is now available for users of Ryzen™ AI and Radeon™ GPUs, according to AMD.com. This update introduces support for the newly launched FLUX.1 Schnell model and includes several bug fixes and additional Stable Diffusion models to improve user experience.
FLUX.1 Schnell Model Support
The FLUX.1 Schnell model, developed by Black Forest Labs, is a cutting-edge image generation model that can create stunning visuals in just four steps. This model is now supported in Amuse 2.1 Beta, specifically in Advanced Mode. Users can download the FLUX.1 Schnell model from the gallery and generate images using the “text to image” tab. However, it is important to note that due to the model’s large size, generation times will vary based on system configurations such as drive speeds and memory size.
Enhancements and Bug Fixes
In addition to FLUX.1 Schnell support, the update brings 23 new Stable Diffusion models to the gallery, including popular Latent Consistency Models like Dreamshaper v8. The update also aims to improve image quality across all models and addresses several bugs affecting users with older hardware. Key fixes include correcting device display order issues and resolving corrupt performance counter registries.
System Requirements
For optimal performance, FLUX.1 Schnell requires an AMD Radeon™ RX 7900 XTX, AMD Radeon™ PRO W7900, or AMD Radeon™ PRO W7800 graphics card, along with a minimum of 32GB system RAM. Performance will vary based on drive and memory speeds.
