Stephen Curry has decided to make the leap from the court to the big screen and has launched his animated film GOAT.”

GOAT” will follow the story of a little goat named Will, who seeks to break through and succeed in a high-intensity, mixed-gender, full-contact sport called “rugibol,” the basketball version of this universe dominated by large and ferocious animals.

Seizing a unique opportunity, Will shows his teammates, who doubted him at first, that skill, conviction, and perseverance can overcome physical limitations. This idea that “little guys can play basketball too” is something Curry has championed throughout his career and has inspired adults and children alike to continue pursuing the sport.

Will will redefine this discipline and will feature the voice of Stranger Things star Caleb McLaughlin, who played Lucas Sinclair. However, he is not the only star in the luxurious voice cast.

The Chicago Sky star and the current Las Vegas Aces champion have joined the cast of Stephen’s promising film, where Wilson will voice a crocodile named “Kouyate,” while Reese will lend her voice to “Propp,” a polar bear who is one of the players on Will’s opposing team.

This will not be the first time that A’ja and Angel have made their film debut. Angel had a brief appearance in “A House of Dynamite,” released in October last year. However, this is the first time she has lent her voice to a character. For her part, A’ja appears briefly playing herself in “Space Jam: A New Era.”

Nevertheless, the addition of these two WNBA icons highlights and contributes to the growing demand to give voice to women’s basketball.

The film will also feature Steph himself as Lenny Williamson, a giraffe, and his wife Ayesha Curry as Carol. Dwyane Wade will play a bull named Rosette, Nicola Coughlan will voice Olivia Burke, an ostrich, and Archie Everhardt, a rhinoceros, will be voiced by another Stranger Things star, David Harbour (Jim Hopper).

Behind this film, produced by the artists who made KPop Demon Hunters and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, are Steph Curry’s Unanimous Media and Sony Pictures Animation.

GOAT, directed by Tyree Dillihay, will be exclusively in theaters on February 13.
