Stephen Curry is currently playing his 17th season in the NBA. He is coming off his fourth consecutive win with the Golden State Warriors after defeating the Miami Heat 135-112 on Monday. However, that’s not the only joy he’s received this season.

It was recently revealed that Steph has been named a starter in the 75th NBA All-Star Game, something his wife, Ayesha Curry, is more than proud of and didn’t hesitate to celebrate.

Stephen met Ayesha in a church youth group in Charlotte when they were teenagers in 2003, but they began their relationship in 2008.

In 2011, when Curry was playing his second season with the Warriors, the couple got married, and a year later, in 2012, they welcomed their first daughter together, Riley. The family grew in 2015 with the arrival of Ryan, Canon in 2018, and the youngest, Caius, born in May 2024.

Ayesha has accompanied her husband every step of the way, supporting him from the beginning and watching him succeed and redefine the NBA.

This season, in 33 games played, Curry is averaging 27.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 1.1 steals in 31.9 minutes per game. He also leads the league with 4.5 three-pointers per game.

As a result, the Warriors point guard was named an All-Star starter for the 11th time, making this his 12th appearance. This made him one of only 17 players in league history to have twelve appearances with a single franchise.

Upon receiving this news, Stephen’s wife couldn’t help but feel admiration for the 37-year-old player and shared this achievement on her official Instagram account. Ayesha posted the Warriors’ announcement of Curry’s participation on her stories and wrote: “My baby!!!!!!!!!!! We are so proud of you!
