Best NFL Picks for Week 6: Top Games You Need to Bet On

The NFL regular season will be in its first third on Monday when the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets play each other. The two undefeated teams (Kansas City Chiefs and Minnesota Vikings) are off this week, as are Miami Dolphins and the Los Angeles Rams, so like last week, there will be 12 games tomorrow plus Monday night. The San Francisco 49ers (3-3) win over the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday put them in first place in the division and the 36-24 score made the Niners cover the spread of -3.5, the 39th visitor to cover it in 79 games and the over of 48.5 was the fifth for the Seahawks. Now, I will give my analysis with stats on four bets that I think have a good chance of hitting and making our Sunday even more glorious. All odds are from bet365

Best Bets for NFL week 6

Chicago Bears vs Jacksonville Jaguars

Let’s start with the first game of the day at Tottenham Stadium in London. DJ Moore’s over 65.5 receiving yards (-115), although he’s only topped that figure twice, with 105 yards his season high in his last game. Moore will put on a show for the London crowd against a Jaguars team that has struggled with top opposing receivers this season, allowing 69+ receiving yards to Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Jerry Jeudy, Khalil Shakir, Nico Collins, Stefon Diggs, Alec Pierce and Josh Downs.

Positive odds: Caleb Williams throws two touchdown passes (+100)

Common bets: Moneyline (Bears), ATS (-1 Bears), Over/Under (Over 44.5)

Washington Commanders vs Baltimore Ravens

The Commanders drafted Jayden Daniels in the hope of getting something similar to 2x MVP Lamar Jackson, and Daniels has had quite the start to the season. This is expected to be a high scoring game, with the over/under at 52, the second highest of the season so far. The Commanders have ruled out Brian Robinson Jr, meaning Austin Ekeler could see significant action. Terry McLaurin longest reception over 23.5 (-115) as McLaurin leads all receivers with 11 targets of 20+ air yards over the last three weeks, recording receptions of 23, 27, 55 and 66 yards in that span. Baltimore has allowed the second-most passing yards, the second-most yards per completion and the second-most 20+ yard receptions (23).

Positive odds: Zay Flowers over 5.5 receptions (+125)

Common Odds: Money Line (Ravens), ATS (+6 Commanders), Over/Under (Over 52)

Detroit Lions vs Dallas Cowboys

Dallas hosts a well-rested Lions team after their bye week, making it a tough matchup for the Cowboys’ run defence against David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs. CeeDee Lambover 85.5 receiving yards (-110) as the Lions defence lacks the personnel to contain Lamb. In their last meeting, Lamb exploded for 227 yards on 13 catches. This year, Detroit’s starting corners are Carlton Davis III, who allows a passer rating of 118.9 when targeted, and rookie Terrion Arnold, who has a coverage grade of just 48.8 (69th out of 74 eligible CBs). If the Cowboys are to be competitive tomorrow, they will have to rely on CeeDee.

Positive odds: Amon-Ra St Brown Anytime TD (+130)

Common Odds: Money Line (Lions), ATS (-3 Lions), Over/Under (Over 52.5)

Cincinnati Bengals vs New York Giants

Finally, we head to the Big Apple for Sunday Night Football, where the Bengals are desperate for a win against the Giants, who will once again be without rookie Malik Nabers. Joe Burrow over 34.5 pass attempts (-130) as the Giants run defence is likely to stifle the Bengals ground game, forcing Burrow to throw more to Tee Higgins and Jamar Chase. Burrow has surpassed this mark in three games this season.

Positive odds: Wan’Dale Robinson 7+ receptions (+135)

Common Odds: Moneyline (Bengals), ATS (+3.5 Giants), Over/Under (Under 47)

Good luck to everyone and hopefully we all win this Sunday. A parlay (+1080) on these four picks for $10 would return $118. Bon appetit!
