A winner of seven Super Bowls and more than 300 victories, Bill Belichick is still a hot candidate among the teams in the NFL that might require a change at the position with only that thing missing in their puzzle to thrive in the league.
It is inevitable that soon coaches will be under even more pressure than they already are, and rumors of an offseason move, or even mid-season, will start in the upcoming week and there are teams that could make a run at the former New England Patriots coach.
The Dallas Cowboys, Jacksonville Jaguars, Cincinnati Bengals and Philadelphia Eagles are pretty interesting options if things don’t work out for them in 2024, and teams like the New York Giants and Chicago Bears are very appealing projects for someone like Bill Belichick.
There will be plenty of options
Only one team can win the Super Bowl and to set an example, the Cowboys and Eagles will be calling their season a disappointment if they won’t win a Super Bowl, so a head coaching change could be in place with plenty of weapons on both sides of the ball.
Cincinnati and Jacksonville are good but there are some issues. There are problems with the Bengals’ wide receivers in terms of contract situation and for the Jaguars, they have problems moving the ball and stopping the run, more work for Belichick, should he be interested.
Chicago and New York are long term development options as they have some pieces in place, like Caleb Williams for the Bears of Malik Nabers for the Giants, are two players to build around on but Bill might want a more structured organization to try and win immediately.
