There has long been the suggestion of a rift between former New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick and Tom Brady, arguably the greatest player in NFL history.

The pair worked together on the Patriots for many, many years and experienced untold success, but the occasional moment of animosity has led many fans to think there is bad blood between the two huge names.

A recent appearance on the Pat McAfee Show has shown that Belichick holds no ill will towards Tom Brady and is immensely proud of what they achieved together.

“I would say with Tom, I learned a lot more from him than he learned from me, I’m sure,” Belichick said, a claim that nobody expected him to make given he was the coach.

“Look, I see the game from the sideline, I see the game from film. Tom would see the game from where he saw it from, behind the center and in the pocket… He taught me all the little things, some of which are big things, just about how he saw the game as quarterback.”

Brady now in the broadcasting game

Brady has since moved on from playing and he has embarked on his first season as a broadcaster in the NFL.

Brady’s highly anticipated debut as a Fox NFL broadcaster on Sunday left fans buzzing, but not for the reasons many expected. After signing a massive 10-year, $375 million contract with Fox, all eyes were on the former quarterback to see how he would perform in his new role as a commentator.

However, Brady‘s first outing in the booth during the Browns-Cowboys game had many viewers feeling underwhelmed, with some suggesting the NFL legend seemed unusually nervous.

Fans quickly took to social media to express their thoughts on Brady’s performance, with many noting his apparent discomfort.

One fan tweeted, “Maybe someone should have listened to Tom Brady actually say words before dropping $300 million on him.” Another remarked, “I don’t know if Tom Brady will end up being a bad broadcaster, but it’s jarring how nervous he sounds today.”
