On Friday night, Hudson shared a glimpse of their special dinner, posting a photo of a decadent chocolate cake with “Happy Anniversary” written in white frosting. The plate was decorated with a candle and additional sweet treats, but it was Hudson’s playful caption that caught attention. Writing in brown script, she added, “better late than never” with a heart, hinting that the couple may have missed the actual date but still made time to celebrate.

Despite the delayed anniversary dinner, Belichick and Hudson seem to be enjoying their time together. Hudson also shared a picture from the University of North Carolina’s stadium the next morning, wishing the campus a “good morning.” This comes after Belichick accepted a position with UNC, reportedly after discussing the opportunity with basketball icon Michael Jordan.
Since stepping down as the head coach of the New England Patriots in January 2024, Belichick has been working as a commentator while also spending significant time with Hudson. The couple’s relationship first made headlines in June when reports surfaced that they met on a flight from the Boston area to Florida in 2021.
While Belichick is known for his intense focus and strategic mind in football, it seems he’s also making time for romance. Their anniversary dinner-late or not-proves that their relationship is still thriving, and Hudson’s lighthearted post suggests she’s happy to roll with Belichick’s schedule.
