Josh Allen and his wife, actress Hailee Steinfeld, delivered one of the NFL‘s most unconventional holiday gifts this season, surprising the Buffalo Bills offensive linemen with a quarter of a cow each.
The unique present, paired with an infrared steak searer, offered both practicality and a personal touch, highlighting the couple’s gratitude for the teammates who protect their franchise quarterback every week.
The unique gesture unfolded on social media after Alysha Monet, wife of Bills offensive tackle Alec Anderson, posted a TikTok video showing off what the linemen had received.
Bags of highgrade cuts, including wagyu, filet, chuck eye, skirt steak, and ground beef, were revealed.
“One of my favorite parts about this time of year is gift giving,” Monet said in the video. “I think it’s really cool to see all the gifts the guys get each other, so I’m going to show you guys the gift Josh got for all the OLinemen because it’s so sweet.”
Monet’s enthusiasm captured a blend of surprise and gratitude as she and Anderson walked through the haul, a gesture she described as something the linemen “always wanted to get for ourselves.”
“We actually had to go and buy a deep freezer from the store right now just to put all this meat in,” she said, highlighting both the generosity and sheer volume of the present.
In addition to the meat, Allen and Steinfeld also included an infrared steak searer with the gifts, ensuring each player had a way to prepare their cuts at home. “Pretty much he got something for everyone to be able to cook all this meat,” Monet
added.
NFL
leaders take the chance to gift teammates luxurious items
This year, Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs gifted linemen items ranging from Hublot watches to electric bikes, indoor golf kits, premium sunglasses, and custom suitcases, showcasing the wide range of how signal callers choose to thank their protectors.
The threetime Super Bowl champion quarterback, sidelined by a torn ACL and LCL suffered in a midDecember game against the Los Angeles Chargers, surprised players, including C.J. Hanson, Trey Smith, Esa Pole and others with an array of luxury items.
Videos posted by the Chiefs showed Offensive Line Room reactions ranging from astonished laughter to appreciative hugs as they discovered what Mahomes had picked out.
“Christmas came early for the Oline! Shoutout to QB1 for the gifts ,” the team’s official Instagram
caption read, capturing the scene where players unboxed electric bikes, designer watches, and more.
‘ gesture continues a tradition of endofyear gifting that dates back several seasons, a ritual in which the quarterback has consistently shown appreciation for the teammates responsible for protecting him on the field.
