Braxton Berrios, wide receiver for the Houston Texans, appears to be signaling a clean break from his ex-girlfriend, social media creator Alix Earle, with a recent social media decision that has fans dissecting every detail, especially against the backdrop of swirling Tom Brady dating rumors.
Berrios‘s digital behavior caught attention when observant fans noticed he had unfollowed Earle on TikTok, a stark change from earlier, when she was the lone account he followed on the platform.
That move comes on the heels of Earle‘s high-profile New Year’s Eve in St. Barts, where she was seen in the company of NFL legend Tom Brady.
Videos and photos from the celebration circulated online showing the pair dancing and in close proximity throughout the night, an appearance that quickly ignited speculation about a possible connection between the influencer and the retired quarterback.
A breakup in public view
Earle and Berrios ended their relationship in December 2025 after more than two years of dating, a split she confirmed on TikTok.
“Braxton and I are no longer together,” she told followers, noting the logistical strain of a long-distance relationship since her move to Los Angeles.
“We have been doing long distance since, basically, June and we haven’t gotten to see each other that often. It’s just been really difficult for me.”
The pair first started dating in early 2023 after meeting in Miami, and their relationship weathered public moments, including Berrios supporting Earle‘s run on Dancing With the Stars in 2025, before ultimately succumbing to the challenges of separate lives on opposite coasts.
In her breakup video, Earle explained the decision came down to priorities and selffocus: “A part of me also really wants to be focusing on myself right now and I just feel like I can’t be what Braxton needs.”
She also described feeling “guilty” that she couldn’t be physically present for him.

At a St. Barts party hosted by tech executive Brad Garlinghouse, Earle and Brady were seen laughing, dancing, and in several intimate moments captured on video.
That footage, widely shared on TikTok and Instagram, fueled speculation that the 25-year-old influencer and the 48-year-old former NFL star may be more than just acquaintances in a party scene.
Brady, whose divorce from model Gisele Bündchen, after 13 years of marriage, was finalized in 2022, has kept much of his personal life out of the spotlight since retiring from professional football.
Following his time in St. Barts, Brady posted an enigmatic message to Instagram about the deeper qualities that make people “beautiful”, a post some interpreted as reflective in nature amid the social media buzz.
