Brittany Mahomes went all out to ensure her daughter had a birthday to remember as the eldest child of the Kansas City Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes turned four on Thursday, February 20, and enjoyed a lavish celebration.
The proud 29-year-old mother of three shared glimpses of the festive celebration on her Instagram Stories, giving fans a peek into the fun-filled event where pink was clearly the main theme as Sterling Skye got to have fun on a special day.
One of the most eye-catching highlights was her extravagant birthday cake. The stunning pink confection was adorned with flamingo toppers, green foliage for a tropical touch, pink candles, and a golden number four.
The cake also carried a heartfelt message reading, “Happy Birthday Sterling,” making it the perfect centerpiece for the special occasion, which appeared to have a vibrant flamingo theme, complete with a pool party.
Another image shared by Brittany captured Sterling floating in a pool on an inflatable flamingo, dressed in a matching flamingo-print swimsuit. The little birthday girl seemed to be enjoying every moment of her big day in style.
“Sterling Skye is 4!,” Brittany wrote on Instagram. “The sweetest, most kind little girl ever! I thank God every day for choosing me to be your mom.
“You have taught me so much about life and what matters most, and I truly am so thankful you made me a mama!
“You are the best big sister to Golden & Bronze, and they are so lucky to have you guiding them. Your Mom and Dad love you beyond and more. Keep being you, baby girl!!!”
Sterling also received a mini makeover in honor of her birthday. Brittany shared a photo of her daughter’s new braided ponytail, complete with pink hair extensions, via Instagram with the caption, “Hair day for the Birthday Girl.”
The hairstyle update comes shortly after Sterling‘s first-ever haircut earlier this month, a milestone the Kansas City Current co-owner proudly documented by sharing a snapshot of her daughter’s curls on the floor.
Will the Mahomes’ have any more children?
Brittany and her husband, who also share two-year-old son Patrick “Bronze” and newborn daughter Golden Raye, have embraced their growing family.
Patrick previously addressed their family size in a press conference, expressing contentment with their three children shortly after it was announced Brittany was pregnant with Golden Raye, who was born in January 2025.
“We’re good with three for right now,” Mahomes said to reporters. “We’ll see down the line, maybe, but my goal was always three.
“So we’ve had three, and we’ll stick there for a while and see if we need to come back and get another one later on.”
