The Golden State Warriors absolutely dominated the Los Angeles Lakers in their preseason finally, as they beat them 132 to 74. However, there was one very interesting positive for the purple and gold, Bronny James.
After struggling in his first few games as a professional, the son LeBron James had a very good game on a personal level. He had 17 points to go a long with 4 rebounds, 3 steals and a block and an assist.
This can be a good sign heading into the regular season, as there were a lot of questions for the organization after drafting Bronny and concerns that he may not be ready for the next level.
Preparing for the opener
The Lakers will have a difficult task in hand to begin the season, as they will face the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday. This of course will not be easy but it won’t as hard as it would last season.
The T’Wolves don’t have Karl-Anthony Towns anymore, as he was traded to the New York Knicks, but the Lakers will have to face Anthony Edwards and a familiar face in Julius Randle, who was part of the mentioned trade.
If Bronny can contribute like he did against the Warriors, he will be a key part of J.J. Reddick’s mix and rotation giving the starting players a breather and it is a matter of waiting a few days to know more about the role the son of LeBron James will play on the team.
