Hours before the Los Angeles Lakers’ NBA debut against the Minnesota Timberwolves, the excitement for this first game in the Regular Season is centered on the absolute debut of Bronny James.
The son of LeBron James will be part of the team that JJ Redick has put together at the start of the season and will wear the number 9 on the yellow jersey of the Los Angeles team.
In the lead-up to the game against the Wolves, where Bronny will make his debut in front of his home crowd at Crypto.com Arena in front of some 20,000 spectators who will be eager to see if the son of their star player has the talent to play for the Lakers.
Asked by reporters the day before his first professional NBA game, Bronny gave his thoughts on what it might mean to play for the Los Angeles team with his father.
“I think it will be different. It won’t be any different than preparing for any other game, but the feeling of being in our stadium for the first time playing the game will be a special experience,” said Bronny James.
LeBron’s eldest son also discussed how he would call his father during game action. “Probably ‘Bron’. That’ll probably be the easiest one.” said Bronny.
