Caitlin Clark found herself stunned by the Indiana Pacers as she watched an NBA beat-down unfold before her very eyes as they romped past the Washington Wizards in a devastating 162-109 win.
The Pacers put up quarterly splits of 45, 38, 42 and 37 points to send the DC side packing at the Capital One Arena on March 27, who could only muster up a quarter-high of 31 points.

A total of nine Pacer players managed to score double-digit points but the praise went to Tyrese Haliburton, who produced 29 points as the guard also added six assists and two rebounds.
And Clark, who plays in the WNBA for the Indiana Fever, was left stunned at the outing despite being famed for her own high-scoring, high game efforts through the professional and collegiate scenes.
“162 points,” Clark posted to Instagram Stories, stunned at what had unfolded before her eyes on Thursday night as she added a mind-blown emoji.
The result proved to be the exact response Rick Carlisle was looking for after their heart-breaking defeat to the Los Angeles Lakers on March 26 when they lost another high-scoring classic as LeBron James‘ side ran out 120-119 winners.
James produced a buzzer-beating effort to bring his points haul for the game up to 13 points, which he combined with 13 rebounds and seven assists as Luka Doncic also added 34 points, seven assists and seven rebounds.
Who do the Pacers play next?
The Pacers are now 43-30 for the season and have moved into fourth place in the Eastern Conference, two wins ahead of the Detroit Pistons and eight wins ahead of the play-in cut-off.
They will now turn their attention to a clash with the Western Conference-leading Oklahoma City Thunder.
A win for the Pacers and defeats for the Orlando Magic and Atlanta Hawks will see the Pacers move to within one win of clinching an NBA Playoffs spot with eight games to go.
