Jayden Daniels burst onto the NFL scene last scene in what was his rookie campaign for the Washington Commanders.
His play helped the Commanders reach the NFC Championship game for the first time in 1991, and he capped off his campaign by being named Offensive Rookie of the Year.

A big reason behind Jayden’s success is his mother, Regina Jackson, who is an agent by profession. However, she recently made waves for playing defence for her son.
She went viral at USC’s recent NCAA tournament opener as Jayden was sitting courtside for the game, while Trojans star JuJu Watkins was by her side.
Although two of of the most promising American sports stars were sitting close to each other, Regina made sure to sit between JuJu and Jayden when the two were speaking, making the moment viral online.
Fans credit Regina’s defense
It didn’t take long for fans online to talk about the moment, with users debating Regina’s parenting style.
There were plenty who called it a good move, including Cam Newton. The former NFL quarterback talked about the moment on the latest episode of 4th &1, and while he called Regina’s actions respectful, he did take issue with it.
“You know what I don’t like about this? We call this great parenting-and that is great parenting-but when Deion Sanders does that, when LeBron James does that, when LaVar Ball does that, that’s a problem,” said Newton.
There may be something to what Newton said, as fans have taken issue with some of Deion and LeBron’s parenting moves in the past.
Nevertheless, Newton made it clear that he had no issues with what Daniels’ mom did, saying: “Man, it ain’t no problem. You better protect that bag. You better protect that asset.”
One thing that is certain is that Jayden Daniels and his inner circle are tight-knit as they continue to navigate the early stages of what could be a stellar career.
