CJ Stroud reacts surprised after video of Caleb Williams trying to ignore him has gone viral

It all happened after the Houston Texans’ victory over the Chicago Bears on Sunday night, as the players and coaches were meeting and greeting at midfield and there is when the two quarterbacks started to talk, with one trying more than the other one.

C.J. Stroud tried to give some advice to Caleb Williams who was ready to walk away until the Texans quarterback held him and spoke to him. Now the situation has gone viral with a video that clearly shows what happened and Stroud was questioned about it during a team press conference.

“I have a ton of respect for him, I told him I have a ton of respect for him,” Stroud said when questioned about the situation. “I had so many guys coming to me after games and that meant the world to me that those guys even thought about giving me advice.”

C.J. Stroud has matured fast

The second-year quarterback out of Ohio State has shown that he has matured quickly, as he can be able to speak to the media and other players the way he has with absolutely not trying to diminish the work that others do.

“I’m just trying to give back to what the game has given me, I wish him the best, I want him to do amazing, I think he will, I think that he will get his groove and once you get in your rhythm, I mean, I didn’t got into rhythm until week three or four so I can see his game picking up from here.”

And to what many question was a bad behavior on the part of Caleb Williams, C.J. Stroud defended him. “I don’t think he was trying to be mean towards me, I just know that he was upset because they lost and I totally understand, so I have a ton of respect for that guy, I want him to do extremely well like any other guy until the day we play and after the game we can be cool, I’m definitely rooting for him,” he said on Caleb.
