A lot is being said about the Draft order and the various predictions or scenarios for NFL teams, and as is customary, the Cleveland Browns are searching for a top-tier quarterback after constant changes at the position.

Now, there’s talk about the possibility of going after the next player in the Manning dynasty, Arch Manning, at least it’s an option that’s already being considered.
The Cleveland Browns could wait until next year, or even two…
That’s how Jason Lloyd frames it in a column for The Athletic. The journalist writes that owner Jimmy Haslam and his ongoing quarterback dilemma for the franchise might not be resolved ‘in a year or two.’
“We all know the Haslam family’s affinity for the Mannings,” Lloyd writes. “I doubt he meant it that way, but as soon as Haslam said ‘one or two years’ to fix the quarterback situation, I immediately thought of Manning if he returns to Texas for two more seasons.”
Of course, if Arch doesn’t live up to what he’s promised, the Cleveland Browns won’t be the only team interested in this natural talent.
This could turn into the best storyline to follow in the upcoming Drafts, without even getting to the one that’s approaching. Going from Texas orange to Cleveland orange would be a blockbuster move, regardless of the decision’s outcome.
The truth is, there’s still a long road ahead, and the Browns would need to have a terrible season (something not too far from reality).
If they don’t believe Shedeur Sanders or Jaxson Dart are the answer, the long game could be a viable solution for a franchise that has cycled through countless quarterbacks-though none quite like Arch Manning.
For now, one of the quarterbacks to watch in the upcoming season needs to perform and grow at the University of Texas, and then consider any of the scenarios that might arise in the NFL-though there’s still plenty of time for that.
