Shedeur Sanders is on the edge of becoming a player that works on Sundays. He is getting better and better as he takes the field with the Colorado Buffaloes and under Deion Sanders he is destined to succeed in the NFL.
However, the real question is where he will be successful and it is more leaning to where his father allows him to play. ESPN commentator and former NFL quarterback Dan Orlovsky is convinced that Coach Prime will make sure he ends up in a place he can thrive.
“There is a 0% chance Deion lets Shedeur get drafted by Cleveland,” said Orlovsky recently. “Cleveland/Carolina will not happen.” Many share that very same thought as Shedeur will declare for the 2025 NFL Draft.
The reason behind the plan
There is no question that in the last decade for the Carolina Panthers and pretty much since they returned to the NFL for the Cleveland Browns, the fact that their quarterbacks have struggled has to do with the lack of talent surrounding them.
In the mind of Dan Orlovsky, many fans and probably even the dad and coach of Shedeur, Deion Sanders, they all are thinking the same thing. As of now, both NFL teams will need a quarterback and would probably like to have Shedeur.
But at the same time, if either Shedeur or Deion go public on their thoughts and say that the signal caller would prefer to go elsewhere, the higher pick in the draft could be traded and open the door to a team that could only be missing a quarterback to have success soon.
