The Dallas Cowboys are alive as they returned to their winning ways on Thursday night and what better way to do it that against an opponent they’ve dominated for the past 13 games. The New York Giants are the victims of a 20-15 game in which the lone star team did not allowed a touchdown.
Dallas’ defense improved after poor performances against the New Orleans Saints and Baltimore Ravens. The Giants forced their opponent to punt on the first possession of the game and opened the scoring with a field goal after receiving the ball.
Malik Nabers was once again the centerpiece of the New York offense, with a 39-yard reception but Dallas responded with a touchdown thanks to a perfect drive by Dak Prescott. The veteran quarterback threw a screen to Rico Dowdle to take a 7-3 lead and never look back.
13 won for the Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys have not lost to the New York Giants since the 2016 season, as they’ve won 13 straight games thanks to a 55-yard touchdown pass by Dak Prescott to CeeDee Lambto increase the lead after another Giants field goal.
Both teams then traded field goals and the Cowboys secured another victory in New York. Daniel Jones has lost his las four games played at home ant even after the victory last week against Cleveland and the good things the team showed, they were missing something at home.
The offense was moving the ball but people could actually feel that there was an element missing. The ‘boo birds’ were heard in plenty of occasions as they will now have more than a week to fix the bad things going on, as the New York has fallen to last place in the NFC East and Dallas are now a half a game away from first place.
