Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb need help on offense, and the Dallas Cowboys’ front office is looking to please them

The Dallas Cowboys are aiming to have a competitive team for the upcoming season, which will be Brian Schottenheimer’s first year as the new Head Coach of the franchise.

The mission will be very complicated for Schottenheimer, who already faces a lot of pressure. The Dallas Cowboys fell short of the playoffs last year, and in the NFC East Division, they have the Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington Commanders, two real contenders for the upcoming season.

CeeDee Lamb doesn’t hold back his words for Dak Prescott

Jerry Jones’ team has many needs, especially on offense, after the surprise retirement of their guard Zack Martin. They also need a star player for the ground game and more help through the air for Dak Prescott.

The Dallas Cowboys are looking for an explosive receiver

There is no doubt that CeeDee Lamb is the Cowboys’ primary receiver and a huge star in the NFL. However, the Dallas Cowboys are currently looking for a No. 2 receiver for the offense led by Dak Prescott.

“We’re open to finding an explosive No. 2 that can improve our offense,” said Stephen Jones, the team’s vice president of operations. “But as I mentioned earlier, I like our receiver group, and I certainly like the players we currently have.”

Dallas lost Brandin Cooks and signed Parris Campbell

The Dallas Cowboys lost the veteran Brandin Cooks, who played that role for the team and now belongs to the New Orleans Saints, so the spot is available in Dallas.

The team signed veteran Parris Campbell, known for his speed, but over the last two seasons, he has accumulated only 134 receiving yards, which is definitely not enough for Dallas’ offense.

So, Dallas could be active in free agency, and there has been talk of Tyler Lockett, former Seattle Seahawks player, or they might look for an important element in the Draft. It wouldn’t be a surprise if they used their first pick to acquire a receiver.
