Dallas Cowboys and Jerry Jones finally get some good news after a terrible month

The Dallas Cowboys could be blessed by the return of Micah Parsons in Week 10 as they prepare for a season-defining showdown in the NFC East with the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, November 10.

Parsons, the team’s star linebacker, has been sidelined with an ankle issue for five games now and it has been a contributing factor to the slump in form of Jerry Jones‘ team, who hold a 3-5 record.

It’s finally some good news for Mike McCarthy who has had to suffer injuries to DeMarcus Lawrence, DaRon Bland, Brandin Cooks and most recently Dak Prescott, the quarterback, as things lurch from bad to worse.

So how does Parsons feel and could he be ready for the clash with their divisional rivals at the AT&T Stadium?

“I feel great,” Parsons told media of his recovery. “My chances are high to play, but we are just trying to see how the practice goes and where’s the talent at and what measures we have to take to play this game.

“I just have to get the feel of the rush. I’m starting all over. My lungs are hurting out there. So, it’s basically like I’m restarting my season all over again.”

Cowboys’ season hangs in the balance in Week 10

The Cowboys are now an outside bet to make the Super Bowl as they sit third in the NFC East, trailing the Eagles by three wins and the Commanders by four thus a victory on Sunday is critical to their season.

A loss will essentially count them out of the picture in their division whilst they will also find themselves possibly dropping down the order in the NFC Conference too, where they are already the fourth-worst team.

A win will give them an outside chance to hang on until Prescott returns from his hamstring injury, and only then will the trio of Lamb, Parsons and the 31-year-old quarterback be reunited to offer some comfort to McCarthy.
