Dallas Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey has apologized to cheerleader Michelle Siemienowski after accidentally hitting her with a kickoff during Sunday’s regular-season finale against Washington at AT&T Stadium.
Siemienowski, a member of the Cowboys‘ iconic ‘America’s Sweethearts,’ was performing with her back to the field when Aubrey’s kickoff veered off course and struck her on the back of the head. The cheerleader fell to the ground, prompting those around her to immediately halt their routine.

Aubrey offered a sincere apology
Following the incident, Aubrey reached out to Siemienowski, expressing his concern and offering an apology. In a message on the roster sheet, he wrote his apology.
“Michelle, so sorry about hitting you on KO! Hope you are doing well! Love watching y’all!” he declared.
Siemienowski later shared the note on social media, reassuring her followers that she was fine.
“This past 24 hours has been a whirlwind! I got a ton of messages and I wanted to thank you all for checking in and for your kind words! I am all okay, so no need to worry!” she wrote.

“He was so kind to write me a note anyways! No hard feelings here! And now I have a souvenir for my last game of my rookie season!”
Siemienowski further congratulated Aubrey for setting a new Cowboys franchise record, making 37 field goals in the 2024 season, surpassing his own previous record of 36 field goals set in 2023.
