Shedeur Sanders will once again start for the third time this 2025 season with the Cleveland Browns. The game this Sunday, December 7, corresponding to Week 14 of the NFL, appears to be an easy one. It only appears that way because with the Browns, nothing is ever guaranteed.
The matchup scheduled for this afternoon at 1:00 p.m. ET will be at home against the Tennessee Titans, a team facing as many or even more issues than the Browns. Cam Ward arrived in the NFL with high expectations, just like hundreds of other quarterbacks, yet so far, his performance has been more talk than action, failing to elevate his team to greatness.

With the game about to begin, Shedeur received an unexpected visit that may give him an extra boost to pursue his second win of the season under center.
Coach Prime is in Cleveland to support Shedeur
Deion Sanders took advantage of the fact that his team is no longer competing after a disastrous season with the Colorado Buffaloes, finishing with a 3-9 record. They were nowhere near qualifying for a bowl game this year.
The Buffaloes suffered from no longer having quarterback Shedeur Sanders nor wide receiver-cornerback Travis Hunter, both of whom left for the NFL this season.
Shedeur found a landing spot after a disastrous draft in which he was expected to be selected within the first five picks but instead fell to No. 144, where the Cleveland Browns decided to take a chance on him and bring him onto their roster.
For Travis Hunter, things unfolded very differently. The offensive-defensive threat was the second overall pick in the draft, going to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Unfortunately for him, just as he was starting to improve his numbers, he suffered an injury that sidelined him for the rest of the season.
After a turbulent beginning and with fortune on his side, Shedeur settled into the team, and due to a concussion suffered by Dillon Gabriel, another rookie and the original starter, he stepped in.
His first start resulted in a victory, although it came against a very weak opponent, the Las Vegas Raiders. Reality hit him hard when he faced a powerhouse like the San Francisco 49ers, who exposed all his flaws.
Now, facing the Titans, another team as weak or weaker, he could prove his worth and secure another game as a starter. It is worth recalling that Kevin Stefanski has said he will evaluate his quarterbacks on a week-to-week basis to determine who will lead the offense.
With that said, Coach Prime’s presence in Cleveland will give Shedeur added confidence as he aims to make his father proud while earning more opportunities, possibly even a spot for next season and greater respect within the organization.

As in previous years, another Browns season has gone to waste, though they hope to finish with better numbers. In addition to this game against the Titans, the Browns still have the following matchups:

- Cincinnati Bengals, Sunday, January 4
These games will be difficult, and they are projected to lose them all, though a surprise is always possible.
