Tyreek Hill was left feeling very concerned about what his agent may do when negotiating the future of the Miami Dolphins star.
There seemed to be a very credible chance that Hill would join the Kansas City Chiefs and link up with the likes of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, but he ended up signing a contract extension with the Dolphins instead.
His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, was left in charge of the negotiations over Hill’s future but the wide receiver did make sure to give him some direction as there was a situation in the past that he was not happy with.
Hill: Do not get me traded
“I let Drew and the team handle that situation. The only thing I told Drew was like: ‘Do not get me traded, the last time you did this you got me traded,'” admitted Hill to the media.
“That’s been my only thing to him,” continued Hill. “I want to stay here in Miami, man. Obviously, this is where family is now. Everybody loves it here-family loves it, wife loves it, kids love it. So, obviously I love it. I love playing for coach and my teammates are awesome. So, I wouldn’t want to leave, man.”
Hill‘s $120 million contract runs through the 2026 season and will pay him $19.7 million in base salary this upcoming season.
Dolphins fans will be pleased to see just how intent Hill was on staying with the team, despite being good enough to head to other teams where he would almost certainly be paid a lot more money.
