Former Lakers player speculates that LeBron James wants to wait to play with son Bryce before retiring

LeBron James realized his dream of playing with son Bronny James earlier this season.

With the accomplishment out of the way, some wondered whether King James would begin to wind down his career, especially since he recently turned 40.

KD and Bron together? A conversation between the two players have started the rumours

However, Lou Williams has thrown out the idea that LeBron may not be done yet because he doesn’t just want to play with one son, he wants to play with both.

During a recent episode of Run It Back, Williams suggested that Bryce could join his dad and brother and make it a James trio in the NBA.

“We made a big deal about Bronny. We got Bryce coming. Now when you playing at this level, this may buy you three, four years to possibly play with not only one of your sons, but the both of them,” Williams said

There is no denying that based on his current level of play, LeBron could extend his career for at least a few more years.

LeBron James, who knows? He can ride off into the sunset as a guy who’s never averaged under 20 points, or he can ride into the wheels, fall off until he starts to see a decline,” added Williams.

“But it’s amazing what he’s doing at this age…I’ve said this, he’s been the best player on the Lakers this year. Even with Luka being in that lineup, it’s incredible.”

Bryce coming off a big accomplishment

There has certainly been plenty of talk about Bryce in recent days after his Sierra Canyon team took down Stockton Lincoln in the state championship game.

With dad LeBron in attendance, Bryce chipped in with three points, five rebounds and two assists. He is set to join the Arizona Wildcats next season, and no doubt plenty of eyes will be on him as he looks to develop his game and perhaps join LeBron and Bronny in the NBA.
