Georgina Rodrguez returns to the White House but does so without Cristiano Ronaldo

Georgina Rodrguez recently attracted attention for her presence at an exclusive White House screening of Melania, the highly anticipated documentary about First Lady Melania Trump.

The private event, held on Saturday in Washington, D.C., offered a first look at the film before its official release and brought together a mix of international celebrities, political figures, and influential business leaders.

Rodrguez, famously known as the partner of football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, shared several glimpses of the evening with her millions of Instagram followers.

Among the photos was one of her posing in front of the documentary’s official poster inside the White House, and another showing Melania Trump addressing the audience from the big screen.

In her post, Rodrguez expressed her admiration for the First Lady and the documentary: “How lucky to have been able to attend the premiere. An experience as impressive as it was inspiring. Congratulations for your movie Melania Trump on the work behind it, and on bringing it to life with such presence and sensitivity.”

The documentary Melania, produced by Amazon MGM Studios and directed by Brett Ratner, explores the First Lady’s life and role during the twenty days leading up to Donald Trump’s second presidential inauguration on January 20, 2025.

The film offers an intimate glimpse into her personal and professional experiences, providing audiences with insights into her responsibilities and behind-the-scenes moments at the highest level of American politics. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on January 30, 2026.

High-profile guests at the White House screening

The White House event drew a remarkable roster of attendees. Alongside Rodrguez, guests included global tech leaders like Apple CEO Tim Cook, Zoom CEO Eric Yuan, and AMD chief Lisa Su.

Royalty and entertainment figures were also present, including Queen Rania of Jordan and former professional boxer Mike Tyson, as well as acclaimed photographer Ellen von Unwerth, who captured the documentary’s official poster. The mix of prominent personalities underscored the event’s blend of political, cultural, and celebrity appeal.

This screening was not Rodrguez‘s first visit to the White House. She previously accompanied Ronaldo to meet Donald Trump in the Oval Office last November.

The couple also attended a gala dinner hosted by Trump in honor of the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, reflecting their international presence and continued involvement in high-profile social and diplomatic circles.

While Melania is set for its official release later this month, the White House premiere highlighted the documentary’s unique perspective on the life of the First Lady and demonstrated Rodrguez‘s continued influence on the global social stage.
