Giannis Antetokounmpo vows to ‘run through a wall’ amid Bucks trade rumors

Amid ongoing whispers about a potential trade, Giannis Antetokounmpo is keeping his focus firmly on the Milwaukee Bucks and his own performance.

According to NBA insider Chris Haynes, Giannis shared a philosophy he’s held for years.

Doc Rivers addressed all the rumors about Giannis’s departure from the Bucks

“Some people see a door and want to rush through it, but I see a wall and I want to run through it,” he said.

“Right now, my priority is getting healthy and helping my team.”

The forward emphasized that he isn’t concerned with what might be happening behind the scenes in the front office, only with what he can control on the court.

Star sidelined but determined

Giannis is currently out with a strained right calf, an injury expected to bench him for roughly four weeks, per Milwaukee head coach Doc Rivers.

Despite missing time, his recent performances show he’s still in peak form, averaging 29 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists per game while shooting career-best percentages from the field and beyond the arc.

Even with Giannis playing at an MVP level, the Bucks have struggled, holding a 9-13 record and sitting 11th in the Eastern Conference prior to his injury.

These challenges only amplify trade rumors, as speculation around Giannis has been a recurring topic for years.

Still, the superstar’s message is clear: he isn’t looking for a way out. His goal is to recover, return to the court, and help the Bucks improve. Fans will be watching closely as Milwaukee prepares to face the Boston Celtics on Thursday, eagerly awaiting the return of their star.
