This was unexpected and it came as a surprise to everyone. Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams is facing a two-game suspension for violating the NFL’s PED policy and this one hurts the team.
While there is still an official announcement pending from the league, this situation once again adds to the wideout’s history of rule-breaking actions. During last season, Williams was suspended six games under the NFL’s gambling policy.
While the Detroit Lions have a very solid wide receiving core, the loss of Jameson Willims will hurt the team for their upcoming games. The Lions will host the Tennessee Titans and Green Bay Packers during the weeks of his potential suspension.
