Jared Goff has had quite the offseason after following up his new mega contract with the Detroit Lions by marrying his long-time partner Christen Harper.
The quarterback officially tied the knot on Saturday in an extravagant ceremony in California, wrapping up a memorable few months for the NFL star.
The 29-year-old married Harper in a lavish outdoor ceremony at the Ojai Valley Inn in Ojai, California, in front of a huge crowd of wedding guests.
Photos published from their wedding day showed their private ceremony from afar, with Jared and Christen joined by family and friends as they celebrated their nuptials with their dog, Quincy.
In one photo, Goff could be seen holding his beloved pup on a leash, while he walked away from the ceremony with Harper having already said “I do”.
Harper, a Sports Illustrated model, wore a breathtaking strapless gown paired with a lace veil, while Goff looked suave suited in a black tuxedo and matching bowtie.
It comes just months after Goff agreed a new contract extension with the Lions in May, which will see him earn $212million over four years – of which $170m is guaranteed.
The three-time Pro Bowler admitted he had left most of the wedding planning to his new wife Harper, 31, and praised her for organizing their special day, revealing he had input on food, drink and music.
How did Jared Goff and Christen Harper meet?
Jared Goff and Christen Harper first became an item in January 2019 when he was playing for the Los Angeles Rams, a month before they lost the Super Bowl to the New England Patriots.
The model once shared that she immediately fell for Goff after first connecting on celebrity dating app Raya.
“I was truly not looking for anything at the time,” Harper told SI in a video filmed by the magazine. “I had just gotten out of a long relationship and I was trying to stay single for a year. Then I met him and the rest is history, baby.”
Goff proposed to Harper while on a trip to Mexico in June 2022 and they can now look forward to starting their new chapter together.
